Position: Security Technician
We are a locally owned and operated, growing company with opportunities for advancement in a strong team environment. We offer a full-time position with an office in Fort Worth, Texas. These duties will not be performed remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete cable installation, device terminations including strikes, card readers, mag locks, motion detectors, etc.
- Provide testing assistance as well as assistance on service and inspections.
- Read blueprints, termination and testing of devices, provide service call and instruction to the end users.
- Lead small- to large-sized crews on new installations.
- Provide full inspection/re-certifications on existing systems including customer interaction/training, etc.
- Responsible for installing, terminating, and testing access control, CCTV, intrusion systems, and security systems inside commercial/residential building.
Background:
- This individual will have demonstrated strong communication, computer, and analytical skills as well as ongoing development in the areas of planning, oversight, and follow through.
- Knowledge and certification of leading industry products such as Honeywell, Hikvision, Brivo, Open Options, DSC, Eagle Eye, and other security systems
- 6 months plus of installation experience
- Capable of complete cable installation, device terminations including strikes, card readers, mag locks, motion detectors, etc.
- Provide testing assistance as well as assistance on services and inspections.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
- A willingness to travel is a big plus but not required.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $18.00 – $40.00 per hour (pay is based on experience)
Expected hours: 40 per week
